About GlitchBot

Who we are

GlitchBot is built and operated by CyberHeroes, a small software company based in the United Kingdom. The product is led by Joe Drozd, who also writes most of what appears on this blog.

If you have emailed our support address you will have noticed it sits on the cyberheroes.co.uk domain. That is not a third party — it is us. CyberHeroes is the company; GlitchBot is the product it builds.

Why we built it

The observation behind GlitchBot is narrow and, we think, correct: the reason most teams abandon project plans is not that plans are unhelpful. It is that maintaining one by hand costs more than it returns. A schedule that takes an afternoon to update after every slip is a schedule nobody updates — and a stale plan is worse than no plan, because it keeps the authority of a plan while quietly describing a world that no longer exists.

Almost every project management tool responds to this by making planning faster to do manually. We wanted to find out what happens if the plan maintains itself instead: you describe the project, agents work out the tasks, dependencies and critical path, and when something moves, everything downstream moves with it automatically.

That is the whole product thesis. The Gantt charts, Kanban boards and NoteBoards are surfaces onto the same underlying plan, not three separate tools bolted together.

How we make money

Two ways, and we would rather state both plainly than have you work it out.

Subscriptions. There is a free Startup tier and paid Scale and Enterprise tiers. Full detail is on the pricing page.

Advertising. We show ads from Google AdSense on our public content pages — the blog, guides, product and documentation pages. Paying subscribers never see ads, and ads are never placed on a board someone opens through a share link. What this means for your data is set out in the privacy policy.

What we publish

We write about project planning, scheduling and the practical side of running delivery work. Some of it is drawn from building this product and getting things wrong. Our editorial policy explains how the writing is produced, where AI assists, and who is accountable for what gets published.
